Lowell National Historical Park preserves and interprets the historic structures and stories of the Industrial Revolution and its legacies in Lowell, serving as a catalyst for revitalization of the city’s physical and economic environment and promoting cultural heritage and community programming. Established in 1978, the park works to create education and recreation opportunities for visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
The Lowell Festival Foundation is a volunteer based non-profit organization which promotes and enriches the cultural life for the people of Greater Lowell through musical, social, and educational programming. This is accomplished through community partnerships and a strong, active core of volunteers.
